Christopher Elliott, Principal

Chris has been involved in the real estate and construction industry for almost 50 years. He began his career with the law firm of George Alan Holley and Associates in Golden, where his work was focused on land development matters for construction and homebuilder clients. He later joined Medema Homes, Inc., which was considered Colorado's largest homebuilder, and he oversaw the development of over 20,000 residential lots in more than 40 communities along the Colorado and Wyoming front range.

For the last 30 years, Chris has concentrated his efforts exclusively on the land development arena including large master-planned communities and some small infill neighborhoods, consisting of both residential and commercial developments in the Denver metro area. Chris is active in his industry associations having served as a director and as the president of both the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver and the Colorado Association of Home Builders and has chaired organizations including the Colorado Housing Council and Colorado BUILDS. He is also a founding member of HomeAid Colorado, a charitable organization devoted to the temporarily homeless.

A Colorado native, Chris holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business-Real Estate, from the University of Colorado and lives in Greenwood Village with his wife. They have three adult children.


Sarah Hunsche; Chief Financial Officer, CPA

Sarah Hunsche joined E5X in January 2019 as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), bringing her extensive financial expertise to the company. In her role, Sarah manages all financial aspects of E5X, contributing to day-to-day operations, development activities, and project management. She is instrumental in developing and overseeing project budgets, working closely with contractors, and ensuring the financial health of each project.

Sarah also plays an active role on the boards of directors for several of E5X’s projects, including metro district and homeowners association (HOA) boards. Her primary focus is on the successful transition of projects to homeowners, with a goal of delivering financially sound communities.

Before joining E5X, Sarah spent over 14 years with CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP, a national public accounting firm, where she became a Principal in 2017. During her time at CliftonLarsonAllen, she specialized in local government finance and accounting, working extensively with governmental entities, particularly special districts. She helped clients issue tax-exempt bonds to finance public infrastructure projects across Colorado.

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Marketing from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she graduated Cum Laude in 2002. An Ohio native, Sarah moved to Colorado in 2004 with her husband and currently lives in Evergreen with her husband and four children.


Jonathan Adkins; Senior Vice President

Jonathan Adkins is a seasoned land development professional with a decade of experience leading residential real estate projects. He currently serves as Senior Vice President at E5X Management, where he oversees entitlements across the Denver metropolitan area. With a strong foundation in engineering and construction operations, he has successfully guided large-scale developments through every phase, from land acquisition and entitlement to final buildout.

Before joining E5X, Jonathan held key roles at top homebuilders including Richmond American Homes, Toll Brothers, and BLVD Builders, where he was instrumental in driving growth strategies, streamlining municipal approvals, and optimizing project performance. Jonathan began his career as an engineer and project manager in the mining and heavy construction sectors with Luminant and Heidelberg Materials, gaining deep technical expertise that informs his pragmatic approach to real estate development today.

A Colorado native, he holds a Master of Science in Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, with a focus on project finance, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Arizona. He is known for fostering strong partnerships with stakeholders, municipalities, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, community-focused developments.
